I have a small wrist, and I’m not sure what the other reviewer’s wrists are like, but this fits me fine. Also, there are + and – markings on the face of the watch marking designated buttons that I can see easily (someone complained of no such buttons or not being able to see the markings, but how can you not have seen them, you mention them?). I had been using a Timex for several years, and was very happy with it until it started malfunctioning. I went looking for a new one, comparing Polar, Suunto, and then later Timex. My two primary concerns were quality, a diffuse set of factors, and the ability to work with an Apple running Mac OS X. Timex Ironman T5E701 Men’s 100-Lap Speed + Distance Watch Review

I have owned this system for about 1 year and have never had any problems with it. The unit syncs within a couple of minutes, once I’m outside and I have never had issues with the link being broken. On the rare occasion that the connection is lost (ducking under a shelter for water, for instance), it picks it back up almost immediately. I am running my first marathon in 3 weeks and finished a 21-miler yesterday. The real life pacing information helped me through that run–and will help me stay on target for the marathon. This monitor/watch is a fun tool to track heart rate and speed/distance. My only complaints are that it takes an excessive amount of time to link up to a GPS and the display is pretty small because there is so much information on it. Ironman Triathlon BodyLink System Heart Rate/Speed/Distance Review

I have trained for 2 marathons and 2 half marathons with this equipment. Can’t run without I need the feed back to keep a steady pace. Satellite lock up is good. When you couple the heart rate monitor and date sensor you can keep an accurate running journal. Every time I think maybe the equipment has reached it life span a new battery in the watch and one in the heart rate monitor has got me right back on track.

Timex Men’s 100-Lap Ironman Triathalon Speed & Distance Watch #T52832 Review

I just received the Timex Speed and distance watch and I have to say I am impressed. The GPS accuracy is stunning. It links up with the satellites quickly after the first time you use it, which is normal for a GPS.

The first time I used it I only ran from my back porch to my garage- a distance of about 30 feet- and it began recording my movements within the first three feet, including average speed and distance traveled.
